FCS Life
Beyond academics, Friendship Christian School provides character-building opportunities and spiritual growth through fine arts, athletics, service, leadership, and more. As followers of Christ, our highest purpose is to learn about Christ, to love like Christ, and to serve like Christ. All that we do, we do for Christ!
FCS House System
The house system is designed to foster community and relationships within the student body through competing, growing, and serving together. High school students are assigned to a house for their high school career. Each of the four house names (Kardia, Anima, Forte, Akili) is derived from Luke 10:27: “And he said answering, Thou shalt love the Lord your God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.”

Service and Ministry
Service is an important part of our school’s vision – “character is exemplified through service.” Our Core Value of Character states that we will “enrich students’ lives by offering opportunities to serve the community.”
Whether it is providing for and packaging care packages for military families, volunteering at the Special Olympics, performing at local assisted living facilities, or participating in community service activities, our students have multiple opportunities to live out this core value.
Student Opportunities
Chapel: Students are encouraged to be involved through special music and other activities. Beyond learning, taking leadership roles encourages students to be service-minded and grow in their spiritual gifts.
Student Prayer Meetings: Students meet together for prayer prior to the opening of each school day. These prayer meetings are led by students.
Athletics: We have a full range of sports for boys and girls. We have boys’ soccer, basketball, baseball, golf, and cross country. We have girls’ volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, soccer, golf, and cross country. Check out the FCS Falcons website!
Fine Arts: From K4-12th grade, FCS offers many fine arts opportunities including choir, band, speech, yearbook, and art. Our students participate in concerts, art shows, and fine arts competitions each year.
Field Trips: Each year we encourage our teachers to take the students on a variety of educational field trips. Advance notification is sent out for these fun learning opportunities!
Student Leadership: The student leadership is made up of all class representatives and NHS members. The President and Vice President of student leadership are the Senior Class representatives. Student leadership meets together to help with planning certain school activities and running student chapels.
National Honor Society: Each year, Friendship Christian School inducts students who are academically eligible (10th-12th grade students who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale) and are commended by the NHS Committee in the areas of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. Read more about our 2024 NHS induction ceremony.
Family Opportunities
FCS families are invited to be a part of our Falcon “cast” (aka, a group of Falcons!).
You can join Parents of Friendship for parent-led teacher encouragement, as classroom or field trip volunteers, help at sports or fine arts events, and more.
Come cheer on the Falcons during games, attend fine arts events, and get to know fellow Friendship families!
The Yellow Ribbon Ministry through Friendship Baptist Church is open to any active, reserve, or retired military member and their immediate family associated with the church or Friendship Christian School. Any parent or child of an active or reserve military member is also welcome. Fill out this interest form and turn it in to the front office if you’d like to be a part of this ministry.
