FCS Walk Event
Friday, October 9, 2009 is our BIG reward day for all the students who participate in the Partners with FCS Walk-Event!!! Inflatable Rides and Games for all ages, Food, Food, and more Food will be available throughout the day. Each ride or game (excludes dunk tank) at the event costs one ticket or the all you can ride wristband. The food and the dunk tank are an additional fee.
The school has plans to use the money that is raised in five areas. Area one is to upgrade the security system for the buildings during school hours. Area two is to continue to modernize our classrooms and curriculum. Area three is to continue to build our Focus Learning Center which serves children with learning needs. Area four is to continue to build a fund for financial needy families. The last area is that upper level students use a small percentage that they raised to help fund their senior trip.
Over the last few years, this event raised money that facilitated the purchase of two new playgrounds, a renovated science lab, computers, manipulatives, computer programs, school web site, landscaping, etc... We have been able to upgrade a lot of our classrooms to allow us to continue to bring a quality education.
